Session 1 Begins in:

Crisis, disaster, war, pandemic. Where do people turn when they suddenly lose a loved one? Often after events like these, there’s an increase in people contacting or encountering the dead. The subject of death and spiritualism can be a difficult one to introduce, but The Serpentine Prophecy does much of the work for you. Through his compelling presentations and on-location documentary footage, Pastor Shawn Boonstra gently opens the discussion, leading people to consider for themselves what the Bible teaches about this important topic.

Parental advisory: This series might be unsettling for children. We talk about ghosts, spirits, witches, and demons. Please use discretion.

Four Powerful Video Sessions

Session 1 (Wednesday October 5th, 2022 @ 7:00pm - 8:00pm)

The Secret of Room 217
The Stanley Hotel is one of the most haunted places in the world: tourists regularly report strange happenings all over the property. But perhaps the most haunted spot of all is the notorious Room 217, where a famous author once spent a fitful night and came away with the plot for one of Hollywood’s most successful horror films. What, exactly, is happening behind that door? Your audience will discover that the story begins not in the twentieth century when the hotel was built, but thousands of years earlier, when mysterious, shadowy figures began to concoct a tale that has survived for millennia.

Session 2 (Wednesday October 12th, 2022 @ 7:00pm - 8:00pm)

Whisper of the Serpent
The Greeks are commonly credited with developing the philosophy that continues to undergird a huge swath of modern civilization. Famous names like Plato continue to dominate college classrooms . . . but where, exactly, did Plato get his ideas about human nature? It comes as a surprise to many people that he openly admitted he got them somewhere else. We’ll also rip the veil off popular pagan myths to discover what the great thinkers of the past actually thought they meant.
You will also be surprised to learn what’s really happening in the famous story of the witch of Endor—and why the pagan philosophers would have instantly spotted it.

Session 3 (Wednesday October 19th, 2022 @ 7:00pm - 8:00pm)

Hidden Knowledge
Every so often, someone will claim that the four gospels found in the New Testament are not the only authentic versions of Jesus’ life and ministry. There are other hidden accounts, like the Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Judas. Where did these alternate stories come from? And why do they bear such a striking resemblance to the ancient mystery schools of Egypt? How much of these stories actually made it into mainline western Christian thought?
We’ll be tracking ancient pagan esoteric thought through the city of Alexandria and following it all the way down to the nineteenth century, when it suddenly set the stage for one of the worst atrocities in human history: the death camps of World War II.

Session 4 (Wednesday October 26th, 2022 @ 7:00pm - 8:00pm)

The Serpentine Prophecy
Thomas Edison invented something that few people ever talk about. Is it the key to unlocking the secrets of America’s most haunted room?
In this final session, we return to Room 217 at the Stanley Hotel . . . and we spend the night inside. It’s one of the most haunted spots on the planet, and we’ll be taking the audience through a Bible study to show the key differences between ancient pagan thought and the biblical worldview. What’s really going bump in the night? The program will be captivating, but gentle. Your audience will suddenly be able to see that much of what they’ve been told their whole lives cannot actually be found in Scripture.
